Actually, Jim, I rather think that you need urgently to turn on that part of the human personality which has learned that insulting people is no way to persuade them to listen to your opinions. In fact, I have no particular player concern in this area. It was a matter that came up at a GMs meeting and I offered to present it in a form able to be voted on. As you would have realised had you read the message more carefully before reacting. Incidentally the term DM is only appropriate in AD&D. In DQ I believe the correct term is GM.
