Good idea but many of the relevant issues haven't been scanned in yet. I've
tried but I haven't been happy with the quality of the resulting scans.

Anyway the relevant bits (dates converted to Western Kingdom)

Late 792 - Aquila and Bowcourt allied owing to the marriage of their ruling
dynasties.
Spring '93 - On the Birthday of Duke of Aquila, the Marquisa of Bowcourt
placed new regiment of heavy curassiers on Innsburg border.
                - Duchy of Aladar objects to this and supports Innsburgian
independance.
5th Heat '794 - Ulric, son of Duke Frederick of Aquila and Marquise
Dulciena of Bowcourt crowned as the new King of the Western Kingdoms .
Shortly after that Innsburg was invaded by the Aquilian High Guard.
18th Heat - Duke of Aladar reported dead, by poisoning, along with at leat
a hundred other nobles and high officers in the Ducal Castle at Novalar
during the Mid Summer Feast.
28th Breeze - Bishop of Ranke assasinated.
Fruit '94 - Novalar and and Drakenburg Ciot, respective capitals of Alidar
and Drakenburg under siege. Drakenburg saved when reinforcements arrived
but Novellar fell in late Harvest.
29th Ice - Bishop of Mordeaux invested as first Arch Bishop of the Western
Kingdoms. Novellar granted to Arch Bishop.
Spring '94 - Aquilans renew attack on Barretskine Aladarian forces
counterattack in Ffenargh river area.
Fruit '95 - Aquilan occupation of Barretskine destroyed by summoned horde
of undead forces. Barrestskyne now city of undead
  Harvest '95 - Novalar recaptured.
Frost '95 - War declared over. Aquailain forces retake Novalar. Novalar in
ruins. Barretskyne cleansed by church knights.

Peace Agreement:
1 - The new border between the two Duchies is where hostilities ceased.
Lands on old Aladar which were taken by Aquila now belong to Aquila.
2 - The Duke of Aquila's son is recognised by Aladar as the King of the
Western Kingdoms and Lord over the Duchy of Aladar.
3 - Aladarian forces to be free of scutage and military service for 2
years. Aladar released from any obligation to pay reparations.
4 - All Aldarian county lands to be split in half with the control of half
being subinfeuded to Aqualians with an equal portion of land in Aquila
subinfeuded in reverse. Each half to be equal to a Viscounty.
5 - Aquaila is assisting in the post-dragon rebuilding efforts in Aladar.

A state of war still exists between the new Western Kingdom and Brandenburg.

Good potted history Keith, Isil Eth may object to the lack of names
etc...<g>

You may wish to include that the war was predicted by the normal
astronomical means (Ie astronomical sums of money were exchanged for
information) and the normal noble means (IE everyone expected carnage when,
at his wedding feast, Duke of Aquila presented a wedding gift to his lovely
bride (yes I do mean the Marchioness, that is just a scurrilous rumour), to
whit, the County of Innsburg.

Afterall, even the dimmest of lordlings recognised that as Innsburg wasn't
technically inside the duchy of Aquila at the time, something had to change
for the gift to occur.

cheers Ian

Is this the one where Blitzkreig and others helped in the seige? Were they
helping to lift it from the defenders or attackers perspective?
And in a similiar vein, was Carzala and the Guild on the side of Aladar or
Aquila?

Thanks for info so far, its the sort of thing I'm after.

Guild parties were acting as defenders in both cities. Bleyse was involved
in Drakenburg's defense while Baron Blitzkrieg was part of the the
Eltradorian forces that lifted the siege there. Blitzkrieg was also
involved in the retaking of Novellar later on.

Officically both would have been neutral. Unofficially I'm not sure.
Certainly quite a few were fighting for Aladar but I suspect the Aquilans
also employed Guild parties.

Keith.
